"Demystifying Artificial Intelligence"

for School Teachers

JUNE 07–19, 2021

A two-week Teacher's Training Programme (TTP) On Demystifying Artificial Intelligence was successfully conducted by Computer Science & Engineering Department of Jaypee of University of Engineering and Technology, Guna from June 07-19, 2021. The TTP received an overwhelming response with more than 450 registrations from all locations of India. We have received 465 registrations from 9 different states:Tripura, Gujarat, MP, UP, WB, Karnataka, TN, Ladakh, and Rajasthan.

Inaugural Session: The programme was inaugurated on June 07, 2021 at 3:30 PM in online mode by Chief guest, Mr. SomitShrivastav (Deputy Commissioner ,KVS, BHOPAL) in presence of Prof. P.K.Singh ( Dean A&R, JUET, Guna), Prof. Vipin Tyagi ( HOD-FMS, JUET, Guna), Dr. Mahesh Kumar (HOD-CSE, JUET,Guna), Dr. Nilesh kumar Patel(Coordinator, FDP) & Dr. Neelesh Kumar Jain (Coordinator, FDP).

In the inaugural speech, Mr. Somit Shrivastav congratulated and thanked Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna for such initiative. He further added that this programmewould provide special benefits to schoolteachers. The inauguration programme ended with vote of thanks by Dr. Mahesh Kumar (HOD, CSE).

After completion of inaugural session training program started with Introduction to AI. During the training programme following resource persons explained AI related topics with hands-on sessions: Dr. Mahesh Kumar, Dr. Nileshkumar Patel, Dr. Prateek Pandey, Dr. Neelesh Kr. Jain, Mr. K.B. Meena, and Mr. Anurag Tiwari (Industry expert from AR/VR industry).

Valedictory session:

Most of them talked about their enriching experience at the Teacher's Training Programme. Thereafter Dr. Nileshkumar Patel, gave report on the workshop. In the end Dr. Mahesh Kumar (HOD, CSE) gave vote of thanks.

The following feedback was received from the participants:

During the valedictory session participants were told to give their feedback. 67% participants gave 10/10, 23% gave 9/10, 6% gave 8/10, 3% gave 7/10, and 1% gave 6/10.

Overall Average feedback from the participants were: 9.5/10.
